Eventful Summer

oh my....

so this summer has been full of stuff that our family has participated in. We have spent the summer spending time with each other and our little angel Jaida. She never fails to entertain us at all times of the day. she is a very big blessing in our life and I thank my Heavenly Father everyday that he has entrusted us to take care of her and to teach her the truths of the gospel. She is pretty much all the way walking now and is growing way too fast. she laughs all the time and loves to dance. she shakes her little bum. She says "dog" and "mama" and "dada" and likes to hug her little zebra stuffed animal she has had for a long time now.

We went to Utah last week to visit our families. We went to see my sister's baby get blessed which was a real honor. My little niece is Maggie June Carrigan. she is so cute and looks just like my sister Madeline. Who is a very good mother already. We got to see both sides of my family and Josh who is Jr's brother too. We had so much fun out there. We ate a lot of Tony's pizza and Farr's Ice Cream and visited people we love the most.. our family. I woulnd't have wanted to go anywhere else for vacation. Jaida had a blast meeting all her cousins and uncles and aunts. what a blessing to have such great family. This is why family is so important in the gospel. We are all here for each other, to laugh with and to support. My family may be a little crazy (ok a lot crazy) and may argue and be loud and obnoxious, but man do I love them more than anything.. and boy do we know how to have fun too! lol

So we came home on wednesday the 10th, and my brother in law James came home from his mission the next day. we were so excited! what a mature young man. he is still the same old James, but has such a brighter and more matured testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. What a blessing his example and testimony has been in mine and my family's lives. he has truly blessed our family for serving the mission and I know he blessed so many Lives in Panama while he was there. He has such a great testimony. I love hearing him talk about his mission and about the gospel and all of its truths.

I am reading the biography of Thomas S. Monson right now and it is fantastic. I reccommend it to anyone, even those not of our faith. almost done with it and it has only been like 4 days.

I just wanna say that I love my family and I love the gospel of Jesus Christ so much. it brings meaning and happiness to my life.  Keep the faith people

sometimes i wonder why i tend to doubt our father in heaven. i pray for something, whether it be an answer, comfort, guidance, or strength and most of the time, it takes a long time to get an answer. I always get impatient and wonder when will i ever get what i want? when will he listen to me? when will i ever learn?

but yet, everytime this happens, the Lord always answers. The lord always comforts, guides, and strengthens. usually it is through another person that he will help us. for me, it was my bishop today. i have waited so long for some strength and love that i really needed and i got it today. my bishop is that person for me today. thanks bishop.

i love my husband very much and even though we have our troubles, we will always endure because we have the Lord on our side. We are forever on the Lord's errand.

Come What may and Love It

I never take for granted the time i get to spend with my daughter. i know a lot of moms love to take their kids to the babysitter as often as they can, but i have never felt this way. i race home everyday from work to see my baby and i never wanna give her up to someone else. call me selfish, but i can't get enough of her.

today she was staring at my brothers dog chico for the longest time. she kept barking at him and trying to pet him. it was so adorable.

we ate at the mexican place in time and while we were there, my sister delaney (the most ungraceful person ever) went to pick up jaida's cup and she fell in front of a lot of people. instead of getting all embarrassed, she just got up and started laughing. what a good example of having a fun and positive outlook.

she got to play in the slip n slide for the first time today. she really loved it once she got used to the freezing water. she grabbed the hose and water went all in her face. she was scared and coughing and started to cry. but i watched as she got right back on the slide and back at playing.

so.. things can be hard sometimes. we may fall down in front of an entire restaurant or we may swallow a ton of water and have to cough it all up, but we just have to show our smile and love it. Joseph B. Wirthlin has told us to "love life and see good days."

wow!

well..

I need to figure out all about how to work this, but a lot has happened.

Our perfect princess was born on September 7th, 2010. her name is Jaida Rae Poli. She was 6 pounds 8 ounces and 19 inches long. She is almost 9 months old and growing like a bean! she is so cute. she crawls all over and is trying to walk. she keeps us busy and makes our days better. her smile brightens anyones life.

Jr and i still work for immigration, but I am desperately trying to find a day job or part time work so i can finish school and stay home with Jaida more.

We bought a house in Independence Mo last year and are trying to fix it up and get everything completed, but that is a task that will never be completely done. Those of you home owners know what I am talking about.

hello hello hello!

we finally have a blog. we need to let people know what is going on!

We are doing great! Our little baby is almost 9 months old and she is a doll! she is so sweet. always smiling and playing. it is very tiring to keep up with her. but i wouldn't change that for anything.

Jr and I (molly) still work for serco, a contractor for the goverment. I am trying to find a day job so i can be home with my baby, but i am thankful for the job i do have. not a lot of time to say more, but we will be keeping this thing updated
